The little one levitating for treats.

These days we sure have a lot of stuff. Leashes, poop bags, e collar remote, cell phone and car keys are just a few necessities I can think of, however the most important thing to take on outings is snacks. Just ask any dog. While I have a backpack I take on longer hikes, sometimes it just seems like too much to carry for a short outing, especially if you’re in the city.

Snacks in the Sierras.

We decided to bring back the fanny pack. I’m not quite sure when they went out of style, but we are going to rock them. There is an inner pocket that is perfect for a cell phone or for small treats, so they don’t get lost in the bottom. I am wearing a small/medium sized pack, and I find it perfect to carry all the items mentioned in the first paragraph.

Too many snacks make for a wild terrier.

I like having treats for the dogs, especially when we are working on off leash time. It helps to reinforce that recall or heel, and really helps a food motivated dog whose nose may or may not sometimes land them in trouble.

Heading back down the hill.

Our fanny packs come in two sizes, small/medium and medium/large. The small/medium could probably fit one bird, if you wanted to take it out in the field as a bird bag. We offer a camouflage print and a hunter’s orange with a topographic print scattered with 12 gauge shells and shotguns.
